Is AnhourMail end-to-end encrypted?
No. Mail is encrypted in transit between servers and apps, and stored on our own servers. Mail between different providers can't be end-to-end encrypted without both sides using the same tool, so we don't claim it. The Privacy Policy explains what we store and for how long.
Can I export my mail?
Yes, at any time, in standard formats that other providers and mail apps can import. The Terms of Service promise this on every plan.
What happens when I delete my account?
Your mail, contacts and settings are deleted. Billing records we are legally required to keep are kept for the time the law requires and nothing more. See the Privacy Policy for every retention period.
Do you read my mail?
No. Staff support tools never show mail content. Any staff action on your account appears in your account's activity log.
What can't I send?
Bulk, newsletter and marketing mail, spam, phishing and malware. The Acceptable Use Policy has the full list and explains how we enforce it.

Anhourtec, a small independent software company. The code is open source, so you can see exactly how it works.
